Let me tell you a little bit about the weather here in Thailand. By Thailand I mean the central region, Bangkok, Pattaya and other cities.

I have been living here practically my whole life and it seems to me like there are only 3 seasons here. HOT, HOTTER and HOTTEST Most foreigners and Thais alike would find it real bad walking out in the sun.

My tip for you is to always carry some water.It can get really hot in April, infact this is the hottest time of the year.

The Thais celebrate their New year festival on the 13th of April or as they call it "Song Kran" (water throwing festival). This is one of the festivals that I enjoy very much.

During 13th to 15th of April "Song Kran" is celebrated in Bangkok, and from 18th - 19th of April in Pattaya. I don't understand why they celebrate this on a different dates in different cities.

"Song Kran" is the time when everybody splash water at each other. Traditionally this was celebrated to cool people down from the extremely hot weather. ITS FUN! :D

Pattaya celebrate the best "Song Kran", I believe. People from all other cities come to Pattaya during 18th - 19th of April each year. Don't be surprised if you see traffic in Pattaya during this time.

Rainy season usually happens in the middle of June and last until the end of August. But again I am tired of predicting the weather here, you just can never guess when it is going to rain.
