There are many famous and modern golf courses available around the world. Mostly people love to go to the countries that are famous for golf, such as the USA or the UK. However, If we look for golf courses in Asian countries like China, Malaysia or Thailand, we find that there are also quality golf courses available in these countries. If you are looking for a golf trip to Thailand, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce one of the finest cities in the eastern region of Thailand, namely Pattaya. Pattaya already has a good reputation due to its fine and beautiful beaches, and for its very entertaining nightlife. However, there is also the fact that Pattaya is one of the most popular places to play golf. There are about twenty to thirty golf courses in Pattaya city, some of which are used in international competitions, and the rest of which are up to international standard. Therefore, playing golf in this small city will be not be much different from playing on the most famous courses in the rest of the world. In addition to all this, you will find that golf course fees in Thailand are very reasonable compared to other places, due to the lower cost of living in Thailand. However, as I have mentioned above about professional golf courses in Pattaya, they are not only suitable for golf experts or senior players. If you have just started to practice or if you have children who want to take golf lessons at very reasonable prices, Thailand may be one of the best choices. You can go to many golf courses in Pattaya which provide lessons at very reasonable prices or you can learn by playing with friends who already know the game.Apart from playing golf in Pattaya, you may find many more interesting activities in this small city, particularly beach relaxation activities and superb delicious Thai seafood. A lot of other international sports are played in Pattaya. Even if you are a professional golfer you may want to try out a new leisure activity, and in Pattaya there are plenty of exciting sports waiting for you.According to the information I have given above, it can be concluded that Pattaya is the place where golf lovers can enjoy world class golf courses as well as all different types of enjoyable leisure activities. There are so many information resources that you can use to find out more about these, such as the Tourism Authority of Thailand's website at www.tat.or.th, or you may find global internet resources such as Lonely Planet who cover all worldwide destinations. However, it is really essential for you to check all the details about the golf course, such as its location and price before you go. You particularly need to check the price as this can vary. It would be better to ask or buy a package through your local travel agent, who will usually be able to get you the cheaper deals and ensure that you have someone with specialist knowledge to take care of everything for you.Naisarasri SriPlease visit Pattaya Hotels and Pattaya Hotel for more information
The district is subdivided into 8 subdistricts (tambon), which are further subdivided into 61 villages (muban). The city of Pattaya is a special municipal area which covers the whole tambon Nong Prue and Na Kluea and parts of Huai Yai and Nong Pla Lai. There are further two townships (thesaban tambon) - Bang Lamung and Laem Chabang. Laem Chabang covers parts of the tambon Bang Lamung, and of neighboring Si Racha the complete tambon Bueng, Sura Sak, Thung Su Khla and parts of Nong Kham. Bang Lamung covers parts of the tambon
Bang Lamung, Nong Pla Lai and Takhian Tia. The non-municipal area is
administrated by 5 Tambon administrative organizations (TAO).
Bang Lamung (Thai: บางละมุง) is a district (Amphoe) in the southern part of Chonburi Province, Thailand.
History
Mueang
Bang Lamung was located in Ban Bang Lamung, Tambon Bang Lamung. The
government downgraded Bang Lamung to be a district, with the district
office located on the bank of Khlong Nok Yang. Later when the Khlong
Nok Yang was not convenient for transportation anymore, the district
head Phraya Sattaya Nukun (Choem) moved the district office to the nearby seashore in Tambon Na Kluea in 1909.
On October 21st, 1952 the district office was completely destroyed
by a storm. The government set up a temporary office in Bang Lamung
school, Sukhumvit Road.
In 1953 the government gave the budget to build a new office in the
same area as the school. That office is still in use today.
